yeppas…the kitchen kaj the Lord

Yeppas :D I got confirmation the kitchen is finally finished :D Whoop whoop whoop. Pics to follow depending how tired I am. I just thought I had to write to you today because I’ve had yet another bad week. Monday was okay. I was on my own but I was fine. But Tuesday I had bad thoughts all day and in the evening Satan and the demons were in my bedroom again and I was TERRIFIED. Absolutely terrified! I know Satan and the demons appear in there when I’m really stressed out beyond my limits so I made a point of hassling the council to finish the kitchen on Wednesday. Praise God they obliged else I could have ended up in that horrid, scary, psych unit.

But Thursday wasn’t any better after the initial euphoric relief. I got scared again of the robots and the conspiracy and things and this lasted most of Friday as well so I couldn’t allow my worker to stay for long because I just couldn’t do anything. So I just napped due to the fact I knew that the induction of my new minister would be exhausting. Why they can’t arrange these things for the afternoon when one’s energy levels would have been a bit more conducive to such events (and the chance of becoming a god fearing zombie less) I don’t know but anyhow. The Lord be praised.

This morning I am not paranoid  which is lovely though I fear it could rain any moment. I’m just debating making bread in the breadmaker this evening as well as good old meatloaf for Sabbath that I haven’t enjoyed for about 2 months. That’s a lot of baking but I really enjoy baking. I made parmesan pesto pull apart the other night from the recipes in The Big Book of Bread and it was really yummy but would have been better warm with a tomato sauce or soup or something. (even a consume was what I first thought of). So glad I bought that book. :) So glad. It’s a joy to use.

I am still taking honey and toast (pending pic here Johanino) and loving it. It’s just so good for anxiety though I don’t know if that’s because of the psychosomatic effects or because of the combination of carbs and sugar. Any feedback on this would be most welcome.

Alas my burn is still not fully healed after 9 weeks now, but I’m taking zinc every night which has stopped it from stalling. I also think changing the style of the dressing helped as well, because the light aerated stuff just kept falling off and it’s a lot drier now. I don’t like the big thick wad on my arm. I positively loathe having a polythene bag over it in the shower. But it’s life for now. I was hoping it would be healed by Wednesday but now I pray it’s healed by the next time I see Dr. C in about 2 weeks so he doesn’t ask any awkward questions about it.

Well best go and sort out some more housework (just a wee bit. I’m officially resting).

Hugs

Johanino
